Are the tours private or shared?

The packages are operated as private tours for your booking party. You will travel in a private 4WD vehicle with an English-speaking driver-guide.

The standard vehicle arrangement is designed for a maximum of four guests. It is not a shared group tour unless this is expressly stated in the package description.

What accommodation and meals are included?

Accommodation is arranged at the property named in the itinerary or at a carefully selected comparable alternative, subject to availability.

All overnight stays are booked on a half-board basis and include dinner and breakfast. A local lunch is included during each touring day.

Depending on the selected route, accommodation may include city hotels, mountain hotels or resorts, coastal hotels and permanent desert camps.

Please inform us in the field "Additional Information" of allergies, intolerances, vegetarian requirements or other dietary preferences when making your booking.

We will communicate the information to the selected hotels, camps and restaurants. Dietary requests are subject to local availability and cannot always be guaranteed, particularly in remote mountain and desert regions.

Are the hotels named in the itinerary guaranteed?

The named properties are the planned accommodation but remain subject to availability.

When a named property is unavailable, we arrange a carefully selected comparable alternative that is suitable for the itinerary and offers a similar overall level of comfort and service.

The final property may therefore differ from the hotel or camp shown in the package description.

How is the room arranged for 3 guests?

For three guests travelling together, the published rate is based on one triple room, usually arranged with one double or twin bed and one additional bed.

An upgrade to one double or twin room plus one single room can be requested within the checkout process, subject to availability and an additional supplement.

At desert camps, the exact bed configuration may vary according to the confirmed accommodation unit.

How does the child policy work?

The standard online packages and published rates are designed for bookings of two to four guests without a separate online child calculation.

Families travelling with one or more children are kindly requested to use the Enquiry Form. We will prepare a personalised offer based on the children’s ages, the required room arrangement, additional beds, hotel or camp policies and suitable transportation.

Any applicable child rates or reductions will be reflected in the personalised quotation. Child discounts cannot be applied automatically during the standard online booking process.

Do you offer multilingual tour guides?

For guests who prefer a French-, German-, Russian- or Italian-speaking guide, we are happy to arrange this service upon request. Availability cannot be guaranteed and depends on guide scheduling. Additional charges are applied.

Can the trip be customized?

Yes. The route, accommodation, activities and selected stops may be adjusted according to your interests, available time and individual requirements.

Customisation is subject to availability, driving distances, local conditions and the feasibility of the requested itinerary. Changes may affect the final package price.

Please use the Enquiry Form for a tailor-made quotation before completing an online booking.

Please review the applicable cancellation policy before completing your booking and contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel.

Yes. Solo travellers are kindly requested to use our Enquiry Form. Where possible, we may offer a shared departure with other travellers following the same itinerary, subject to availability and the agreement of all guests.

A private solo tour can also be arranged. In this case, the minimum charge is equivalent to the total package price for two guests.

What kind of vehicles are used for the tours?

The standard packages are operated in a private, air-conditioned 4WD vehicle with an English-speaking driver-guide.

The exact vehicle model depends on availability and the selected route. The standard arrangement accommodates a maximum of four guests.

Families, larger groups or travellers carrying substantial luggage should submit an enquiry so that we can arrange a suitable vehicle or additional transportation

Where does the tour start and end?

The packages normally begin with pick-up from your hotel in Muscat and end with a transfer back to your Muscat hotel or to Muscat International Airport, as confirmed in your booking.

Additional transfers before or after the selected package can also be arranged on request, including transfers from locations outside the standard Muscat pick-up area. These services are subject to availability and may require an additional supplement.

Can I book additional transfers with my package?

Yes. Additional private transfers can be arranged before or after your selected package, including airport transfers, hotel transfers and transportation from locations outside the standard Muscat pick-up area.

Transfer prices are calculated according to the route, vehicle category, number of guests and luggage requirements and generally apply per vehicle and one-way journey. Available options may be added during checkout or requested through our Enquiry Form.

Can dietary requirements be accommodated?

Please inform us in the field "Additional Information" of allergies, intolerances, vegetarian requirements or other dietary preferences when making your booking.

Experiences such as turtle watching at Ras Al Jinz, vintage-car tours, room upgrades or additional excursions may be booked for an extra charge, subject to availability and local operating conditions.

Wildlife sightings, including turtle sightings, cannot be guaranteed.

How much walking is involved?

The packages combine scenic drives with visits to forts, souqs, villages, viewpoints, wadis and natural attractions.

Most itineraries require light to moderate walking. Some locations may include steps, slopes, rocky paths or uneven surfaces. Wadi and mountain conditions can also change depending on the weather.

Please inform us before booking if a guest has limited mobility, uses a walking aid or requires an adapted itinerary.
